ViaVoice is optimised for Pentium II, Pentium III AMD K6 and 3D NOW processors. ViaVoice Pro supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 (Service Pack 2) or greater, Netscape communicator 4.5 or greater (dictation only) and America Online 4.0 or greater. ViaVoice and its files should not be compressed with disk-compression utilities. Microsoft Active Accessibility on Windows NT 4.0 is not fully supported; therefore ViaVoice navigation and command and control for Windows NT 4.0 are limited. Additional RAM and faster processor can improve performance. Recognition rate depends on the recording quality of the sound card.
